Timoreta graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Stellenbosch in 2004. After gaining experience in public sector orthopaedics and surgery, she worked in Ireland, where she completed her Stott Pilates Instructor course and assisted in the rehabilitation of the Skerries Harps Gaelic Football team.
She earned a Master’s in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy with distinction in 2013 and completed postgraduate courses in Pain Management (2015) and Vestibular Rehabilitation (2016).
Timoreta specialises in chronic pain, vestibular dysfunction, female pelvic pain, and sports injuries, using a combination of manual therapy, exercise, and Pilates. She is the Deputy Chairperson of the SASP Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy Group and serves on the IFOMPT Executive Committee.
An avid swimmer, hiker, and runner, Timoreta completed her first marathon in 2018.
