To assist the EC in developing a position statement on the environment and sustainability and the position and role of IFOMPT in this.
Up to five members plus the Chair. Additionally, one Executive Committee (EC) liaison member and IFOMPT’s Executive Director as ad hoc members. Volunteer nominations will be sought from the MO, AMO, and RIG delegates as well as interested EC members. The nominated candidates can be any member of a MO, AMO, or RIG, and do not have to be the designated delegate to IFOMPT. The Chair will be appointed by the EC.
Qualifications: Members must belong to a MO, AMO, or RIG of IFOMPT.
The TFES is appointed by the EC and is answerable to the EC. The Chair along with the EC allocated member will be responsible for ensuring effective communication between the group and the EC.
The TFES will work remotely using email, video conferencing, online meeting platforms, or any other technology as needed to enable fair and reasonable consideration of any matters. All documents will be available to members in electronic format (Teams Folders), information contained in documents is confidential to IFOMPT staff, the TFES, and the EC.
Members of the TFES will comply with IFOMPT’s conflict of interest policy and code of conduct policy, and any other relevant policies, at all times. Members will declare any matters that may create a true or perceived conflict of interest or bias at the start of each meeting and at other times as required by policies.
The TFES cannot invite further individuals onto the group without the specific agreement of the EC. And cannot perform any tasks outside of the agreed to scope without prior approval from the EC.
